This is a dynamic series of poses. One pose warms and prepares you to the next one following a synchronized flow of breath and movement that aims to strengthen and purify the body. Also known as meditation in movement, the practitioner follows a Sanskrit count that energizes the whole system increasing mental focus and awareness. A steady solid practice of the first half of the Primary series is highly recommended.

Ashtanga Yoga Mysore STYLE

Mysore style is the traditional way of learning the Ashtanga Yoga methodology. Mysore is the name of the city of India in which Ashtanga Yoga was born. The style approach is highly personalized within a group setting. It offers the opportunity to learn the method at your own pace while you are immersed in the energy of the group. This method allows to work with each student individually in the postures that require assistance.


JOURNALING

Weaving our way through a free stream of consciousness writing, we will transport thoughts to paper that leads us to the gold mines of the mind and heart. In this meeting point, we will make contact with our higher source and inner creator, as we dig for the gold nuggets of inner wisdom, clarity, and internal guidance. We will alchemize the experiences that no longer served us, and we will infused them in Poetry, as we let beauty be the torch lighting the way to bring forth what’s hidden or dormant and to convert it into powerful energy for golden transformation.
